This Privacy Policy explains what information Padel Pals collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have over your data. By using the Padel Pals mobile app you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Padel Pals is operated by Ben White, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" refer to this sole trader.
If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and we'll come back to you.
The information we collect includes:
Padel Pals uses Sign in with Apple as its authentication method. When you sign in:
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share limited data with the following service providers, all of whom are bound by their own privacy obligations:
We may also disclose your personal information where required by law, to protect the safety, rights or property of Padel Pals, our users, or others, or in connection with a sale, merger or change of control of the business.
Your match data and profile information are stored in our Supabase database, associated with your unique Sign-in-with-Apple identifier and automatically synchronised across your devices. We use HTTPS/TLS for all traffic, Row Level Security policies on the database, and Stripe's hosted SDK so payment card data never touches our servers (PCI SAQ A scope).
No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so while we take reasonable precautions we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may use third-party service providers to monitor and analyse use of the service:
Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13 and you must be 18 or over to make a payment through the app. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
Depending on your location you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:
You can delete your account at any time via the "Delete Account" option inside the app, which removes all your personal data (subject to the payment-record retention above).
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material change by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this page periodically; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new policy.
