Coaches, organisers and players share one club: the same membership, the same player levels, and the same Upcoming calendar. You publish a named Group Lesson; eligible members join from Club Home instead of a separate WhatsApp list. When the club uses Court Bookings, a Group Lesson can sit on a booked court. Organised play still lives on Club Socials and Americano — this page is the coaching side of that community.
This week on Club Home
Members see Group Lessons this week on Club Home and can book without leaving the club feed. Classes they qualify for sit next to the rest of the week’s play, so coaching is part of the club rhythm rather than a side channel.
Publish a Group Lesson
Open My lessons and add a class. The default is a 60-minute group of four at £15 per player, with a topic and a tight rating band. Set the price to £0 for a free class. Share the sign-up link, or tap Notify so eligible members see the slot.
Band training or a skill class
Pick Band training — Newcomer through Advanced, using the same scale as player levels — or a skill from the catalogue: foundations, serve, return, both back, at net, and match play. Other lets you type a name. Ratings fill in from the band so the group stays a similar standard.
Weekly series or a one-off
Repeat is Weekly or One-off. Weekly lessons run on a weekday between a start and end date. One-off is a single date. Players book one week at a time, so a Thursday improvers class can fill without locking the whole term.
Who can book
Set group size (default four), a tight rating band, and optional Men or Ladies. Open 0–9.9 is not allowed — the point is a similar-standard group. Eligible members see the class; everyone else does not.
Members join and pay
Book a Group Lesson lists this week and later dates that match the player’s band. Join, then pay with Apple Pay or card when the class is not free. Full classes can take a waitlist. Players can cancel more than 24 hours ahead.

The Coach dashboard shows upcoming Group Lessons, spots filled and a suggested hourly rate used only as a 1-to-1 guide. Open a date for the roster: who has joined, ratings, and who is still awaiting payment.
Roster, notify and skip a date
Notify eligible members when a class opens — do not rely on WhatsApp. If fewer than three have joined, skip that week rather than mixing levels. Anyone already booked is told; paid refunds are sorted with the player, not automatically.
Private 1-to-1 when you need it
The same offering works at one player: set group size to 1 and a price for the lesson. The dashboard hourly rate is a guide for 1-to-1 only — Group Lessons stay priced per player. It is the same club list, not a separate product.
